CHAT WITH DIMITRIOS

Dimitrios and I were talking about the Interactivity element. I initially wanted to include 2 worlds in the film. The first world being the frantic contrived, set up world full of things the girl will consume/ products/ drink/food. The second world being totally stripped back in nature, with no things and just fully natural. If I was to include interactivity with both of these worlds, we were talking about how unless the girl was doing exactly the same things in each world, it would be weird for the user to switch between the worlds and the narrative wouldn't flow. It would be like watching 2 separate films.



OPTION 1


  • INCLUDE INTERACTIVITY, BUT THE FILM IS SET IN 1 WORLD (THE PINK FRANTIC SET UP ONE), WITH THE ANIMATED SIMS STYLE OVERLAY PANEL.

OPTION 2


  • NO INTERACTIVITY, JUST A LINEAR FILM, WITH BOTH WORLD 1 AND 2, WITH THE ANIMATED SIMS OVERLAY PANEL.



Dimitrios said the animation on aftereffects for the sims overlay panel would be fairly simple. It's just the interactivity part which I think will be quite difficult.


Need to look at similar film examples to work out how exactly I want to do it.
